Session Retainer Fees for Honey Bee Photography
Regular Family Sessions
$65 Home Studio or Outside Summer Sessions for a family of up to 4 people (1 hour long)
$10 for each additional person
Half hour sessions
$30 These are good for doing head shots, or a single child between the ages of 3-15 years with just one outfit.
Winter Wonderland
$55 for a 20 minute session outside from the first snowfall til Breakup.  Call to be put on a list; these sessions are limited.
Tuesday through Thursday Midweek Special
$32 for up to 4 people (1 hour long)
$5 for each additional person
First Birthday Session with Smash Cake included:  $30.00
Pin Up Photography
$75 for the session (does not include Hair and Makeup)
These are generally done in January and the first week of February for Valentine’s Day.
I have a Makeup Artist on hand during these events and her rates start at $40.

Portrait pricing is different than regular portraits due to the amount of Post Processing done .
The type of paper used for Pin Ups is metallic paper.  It makes colors pop and skin looks wonderful.
Limited Edition Series
These sessions are specialized themed micro-sessions, 20 minutes long, are $30 and include in the session retainer a beautiful 4x5 portrait printed on fine art velvet paper.  Special packages are made just for these sessions.  Themes include Spring Portraits with life-like bunnies and chicks; Ballet Babies with a beautiful, stage-like set;  Amazing Aviation with lots of great costumes and props;  Rock-N-Roll with a gorgeous starry filled backdrop, a director’s chair, and images that only a rocker could be proud of; and Fall Festival portraits complete with hay bales, flowers, pumpkins and other fall harvest products and other fun items.  The Fall Festival theme will include a canned food drive, for each can/box of non-perishable food you donate, you get $1.00 taken off the price of your portrait package.  These sessions are perfect for kids ages 7 months to about 7 years.
Bringing Home Baby
This is a 3-part session that includes your Maternity Session, The Hospital Session, and the Newborn session.  You can also get these sessions individually.
The Bringing Home Baby Package also includes an 8x10 from each session, a 10-paged 5x7 soft cover book, and 15-4x7 custom designed birth announcements.  This whole package is a $690 value, for only $500.
Operation Love: Reunited Sessions
These are sessions dedicated to the deploying military person and his/her family.  There are 2 types, the pre/during deployment session and the reunion session and both are free.  The pre/during deployment session must have a military/patriotic theme and after the military person has deployed, I send him/her a sturdy keepsake album to enjoy while away.  The session and album has a value of at least $565.00.  The Reunion Session takes place either during the ceremony or I accompany the family to the airport, and this is free as well.  The family receives a disk of 20 favorite images.  The session and the disk (which includes very large files) is worth $1200.00.

Misty Cypress session

Wander in the woods of mysterious Cypress Trees through swirling mist and discover a beautiful, wild place.  Windswept and rough, the trees offer a natural backdrop that you just can’t find in a studio.  The best style to wear is rugged and stylish; earthy colors work best.  To create a completely different look, dress up for urban-wilderness images.

This session is a one-hour session and is $100.00 for a family of four.  Each additional member is $25.00 and each additional hour is $65.00.

Beachcomber Adventure sessions
 

This session is perfect for the family who seeks adventure at the beach.  Stylish and timeless props are perfect for children ages 7 months to 5 years old; seashells, vintage jars filled with rocks and small shells, a fun tent for shade, and vintage boxes to carry all of the loot to the shore.  The perfect outfits to wear would be jeans and long sleeved pastel or white t-shirts.  Remember that it could be chilly on the beach, so be prepared and bring pastel beach blankets and stylish hoodies without any writing on them.  Beautiful beach boutique is available from HBP in this session.

This session is a one-hour session and is $100.00 for a family of four.  Each additional member is $25.00 and each additional hour is $65.00.

Bump Sessions
 

We know that you love your baby who is growing inside of you, and you cherish every moment while pregnant.  Show off that beautiful baby bump with beautiful portraiture.  We soften your skin, so don’t worry about stretch-marks.  This session is perfect for moms who are between 30-35 weeks.
This session is a one-hour session and is $100.00.

Newborn Sessions
 

Newborn sessions are dear to Megan's heart.  Come to our studio where it's peaceful, warm and relaxing where we have everything needed to make your session a successful one. 


Newborn sessions do take a while to do, but the outcome is worth it.  You can expect your session to last 3-6 hours, depending on how hungry and sleepy your baby is.  They younger your baby, the faster your session will go.  Experience shows that the best times are between 3-7 days.  Around 10 days old babies tend to be on a feeding frenzy, and after 12-14 days they lose their newborn curl and like to be awake more.
We offer five different newborn sessions, designed to follow your basic décor at home.

 
Cottage Charm
This style embraces all the sweet goodness that is cottage:  whites, creams, pinks and blues with other pastels.  Quilt tops and sweet hats make the session that much better. 
 

Rustic Comfort
Do you love rustic furniture in a forest cabin?  Then this newborn session is perfect for your little one.  Warm and cozy, this session incorporates a lot of wood and autumn colors.  For fun we offer a teddy bear hat and a moose hat!  Other props are available as well.
 

Classic Notes
This style is perfect for the family who adores vintage items with a mix of modern sprinkles on top.  This session includes a beautiful vintage baby scale and our copper pot.
 

Modern Moments
Geometric shapes define this session style.  Circles, stripes and triangles with fun modern elements make your images snap!  The round “O” basket and large white bowl along with the fun sling are big components of this collection.
 

Your Way
Your Way is designed to create newborn art with your items, whether it’s beautiful crocheted hats and afghans,  blessing or baptism outfits, sweet items from your nursery, or other lovely items that mean a lot to you.  We bring the basics and you get to choose exactly what you want in your portraits.

All Newborn Sessions include beautiful, simple images of your baby as well as the use of our props.  We also photograph the family together in dramatic, low key lighting to highlight the beautiful relationship between your family members.  We suggest black, long sleeved t-shirts (Lands End offers great style for great prices) to bring focus to your faces, hands and the baby. 

Most of these images will be offered in classic black and white.

Your baby announcements are also custom-designed around the 5 styles we offer. 

Newborn Sessions are $195.00 and include a complementary set of 20-4x7 baby announcements.

Family Studio Session
 

The session fee for the Family Studio Session is $120 for the first two hours with up to 4 people.  Each additional person is $20 and each additional hour is $65.00.  This session is perfect for those who want more formal portraits or just want something different from the outside.


>SMASH<  Session
>SMASH< Sessions are the perfect way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday!  At this 90 minute session, we photograph your one-year-old in up to 4 different outfits, with select props from HBP, and finish with the piece de resistance, the fabulous 6 inch cake, custom decorated and ready for your child to dive into!
The session fee for >SMASH< Sessions is $95.00 and includes the cake and 20 custom announcements/invitations for baby’s first birthday.


Limited Edition Sessions/Portrait Parties
 

Do you love to host parties for party businesses?  We do parties too!  Our Limited Edition sessions are perfect for children ages 7 months to 7 years.  These sessions are $50.00 each and include a 4x5 print on exclusive velvet paper.

Ballet Babies is a beautiful studio set, magically transferred into a stage for your ballerinas to tiptoe and twinkle across while stealing your heart.  We provide simple costumes for girls 7 months to 7 years, but you must supply the tights.

Little Flyers is a fun vintage-style set that is similar to a 1940’s airport hangar.  Watch your little boys tinker with tools and a propeller or fly a toy plane across a world map!  We provide simple costumes for this session; you must provide a dark plain t-shirt, jeans and brown shoes. 

Santa Baby is held only in November of the year due to the seasonal characteristics of the session.  Your children won’t be scared of “Santa” because Santa is Mom or Dad in costume from the waist down.  These sweet portraits are perfect for greeting cards and decorating the house during the holidays.

Pin-Up Parties/Events
 

Want a FUN Girl’s Night In at our studio???  This is the party you want to host!  Have at least 3 gals attending/purchasing, and your session is FREE!!!  Session fees are only $65.00 for a half hour session with one outfit, $109.00 for an hour session with 3 outfits.  Both sessions include a 8x10 portrait on metallic paper.  You get a print credit of 10% from your party’s sales.  We have 2 makeup artists that stagger the makeovers (so the half hour sessions can be done) and they will have their own fees.

You will be stunned by your transformation and how gorgeous your images will be straight out of the camera, but even more impressed when you see them re-touched.  We use hi-tech software to make your gorgeous pin-ups look like actual illustrations that were created by Gil Elvgren in the 1940’s.  Call today for details on how you can host the party that your girlfriends REALLY want to attend!

Pricing for Pin-Up photography is different than our other sessions, due to post-processing and materials.  Please ask for details.

All Pin-Up sessions are done at our studio in Marina.  You can also do your own Pin-Up session without the party for $150.  This includes a gorgeous 8x10 portrait.

Military Family Special
Being a military wife myself, I can appreciate how hard military families budget their money.  For this reason, HBP is offering special available ONLY to military families.  You must show ID to be eligible.
The Military Family Special is a one-hour session outside for only $199.00, and one of the following:
A.     Seven 8x12 images at 300 ppi (considered to be a large file) and you can print up to an 11x14 with this size.  Value is $450.00
B.    A Print credit of $199.00.
You may use this for the Misty Cypress or Beachcomber Adventure session, or select a different location.  This offer is not available for Newborn sessions, >SMASH< sessions, Family Studio sessions, Limited Edition sessions or Pin-Up sessions.  The age of the youngest child must be at least 6 months old.

At HBP we strive to bring you boutique portraiture for reasonable prices.  Boutique portraiture will go for many times more than what HBP offers, so please take advantage of these types of sessions.
